People who scoff at the existence of God proclaim that you cannot see God, thus he does not exist and is a fiction of human imagination. But do we deny the existence of wind, even though we do not see it but see the effects of wind? I am standing inside a home a watching the leaves rustling in the wind, moving around and twisting to the motions the wind is guiding them. I cannot feel the wind or see the wind, but I see it’s effects on the leaves of trees. We cannot measure God forensically. At the same time, we experience God but we do not see Him, only the effects of his work and presence: “Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen” (Psalm 77:19).
