God is a creator and He loves His creation. In fact, God loves us so much that He sent his only son to die for us. Another sign that God values us so much is that he created within us the instinct for sexuality so that we can feel attraction for the opposite sex, commit to marriage and keep creating more humans. The instinct of sexuality is strong for a reason and it is univeral, existing among all races and geographic areas throughout time. Why? Because God is life. God loves life and wants more life. God is a Big God and an abundant God. The more life, the better. God is about growth and so life is about growth. Just as sports like soccer and hockey are designed for scoring more goals, life is designed for growth, which is why the implanted instinct of sexuality is so strong. In Genesis 1:28 we read, “God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.” God commands us to bring more human beings into the earth. This Scripture is again reinforced in Genesis 9:7, Leviticus 26:9, and Psalm 127: 3-5. In light of this instruction, we hopefully become aware of the devastation of the legalized child-sacrifice taking place within our nations today–abortion. Even the name should illuminate the cruelty of this gruesome practice. If people (even pro-choice advocates) call it abortion then they are admitting they interfering with a life process. To abort means to “to fail, cease, or stop at an early or premature stage” or “to cause to cease or end at an early or premature stage.” The definition itself lends proof that those involved in this murder are actively interfering with life itself.
