In Matthew 13:45-46 we read, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls. When he found one very precious pearl, he went away and sold all he had and bought it.…” The enthusiam of finding what you are looking for, is that passion of being in touch with exactly what God wants you to do in life. If something excites you, God is leading you to be involved in it. If it awakens a fire within, then God is pointing you to that endeavor. I do not have a passion to play piano. That being the case, I have no desire to learn it and so I do not spend any time learning or playing the piano. The things I do are the things God puts on my heart. And when I sense those things existing in my heart, I devote all my time to those things, like selling all I have to buy that fine pearl. The things worth chasing are the things God leads you to and we know it is God leading us if that joy resides inside us.
