In this tragic time of global pandemic, many are losing work, homes and money. But is it yours to lose? If we truly give our lives to Jesus Christ, we give everything and dedicate everything to Him. We are merely stewards of all the goods God gives us to watch over and direct. We are investors of talents and workers in his vineyard. We work, earn, invest, earn more and direct all we have for His glory and purpose. He giveth and He taketh away (Job 1:21). It is foolish to think we can take all we work for into Heaven. The Kingdom of God is a spiritual realm and thus we need to conduct our lives on that basis. So when you catch yourself being very possessive about your stuff, just remember “The earth is the Lord‘s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1).
