When given the opportunity to do something, like impacting others for Jesus, seize the moment and do it. As the New Age thinker Joe Vitale says, “the universe likes speed.” That is a New Age way of saying that when God Speaks we should act immediately and not procrastinate and doubt. God’s ways are different from our ways. This is best expressed in Isaiah 55:8-12,”For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” When God wants something done, it gets done. And if you won’t cooperate, He will find someone else who will do the work and reap the blessings. When God speaks to us about an action, the best thing to do is act now and not dwell on it or else you will lose your opportunity. The verse in Isaiah 55:6 best exemplifies this concept, “Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.”
