In Long Term Debt?

Written by Joe Dardano

Debt is meant to be short term. If we need to borrow, work to pay it back as fast as possible. Evil people borrow and do not pay back—Pslam 37:21 “the wicked borrow, and do not pay back.” They do not pay back because they do not understand the true meaning of life. Fulfillment and happiness in life results from a lifestyle of giving, not taking. When we dedicate our lives to giving to others, we live joyfully with purpose and in union with God’s will. Looking further into Psalm 37: 25-26, we read, “I have not seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are ever giving liberally and lending , and their children become a blessing.” Living a God-centered life with purpose and vision and in alignment with His will offers long-term blessings in this life and the afterlife. A righteous person’s children will be blessed as well. This is a sure sign that things are going well for you. If your children are doing well, then God is telling the whole world that He is abiding in your family.
