God is all About Profit

Written by Joe Dardano

Some may wince when reading or hearing that “god loves profit,” but the Holy Bible fully supports this assertion. God wants production. God wants fruits. We are designed and created to bring results from our way of living. Ultimately, those results mean bringing as many souls we can to His altar for eternal glory. We are all called to lead as many people as we can to His saving grace, to permit all humanity to live lives of fullness, safety and happiness. Therefore our lives have purpose and meaning. We are not just random beings wandering about without direction or higher aim. We were created for purposeful living in order to fulfill a sacred cause. Psalm 30 brings clarity to this point. It talks of death in verse 9: “what profit is there in my death, if I go down to the pit? will the dust praise you? will it tell of your faithfulness?” You see death of body has no communication with earthly beings and thus cannot praise and give witness to God’s wonderful plan for our lives. Life has purpose because it has potential to bring others to Christ. And as we bring others to Christ, we bring profit to the gates of heaven.
